Pastor Rodney L. McCray was born January 23, 1984, to Mr. Abraham & Laura McCray of Salters S.C. Pastor Rodney attended D.P. Cooper Elementary school, & graduated from C.E. Murray High School class of 2002. He is Married to Rovenia A. McCray and they are blessed with three beautiful children. Pastor McCray was raised in the church, and raised to fear the Lord honoring his word. He started out singing on the Choir. Then later on in his teenage years he developed a passion for music. He then became a keyboardist for the church & surrounding areas in the community. The Lord always had his hand on Pastor McCrays life. He got saved in the early 90s under his current leader Bishop Dr. Floyd A. Knowlin! Pastor and Founder of Lighthouse of Jesus Christ Inc. In 2007 he was led by the spirit of the Lord to answer the call for ministry. Over the years God has truly kept him & blessed him, as he’s also a graduate of the Louis Cooper Bible Institute. Receiving his bachelor degree in theology. The Lord then placed in his heart to form the ministry under the umbrella of LHOJC the mother church. The Lord placed in Pastor McCray heart to start the ministry in 2018 at the Library in W. Columbia. He started doing Bible study then later started having services in the meeting room there. After a while of praying and seeking the Lord for direction, he later blessed Pastor Rodney McCray with the current location to host the ministry. 6030 St. Andrews rd Columbia sc. Pastor McCray believes that if it’s ever a time we need the Word of God the time is now. He also believes that the Lord is still yet in the Healing, Saving, Blessing & Miracle working Business.
